Being able to recline comfortably in a zero gravity, stress-free position while working at a computer is a real life saver, the pain you experienced for years is no longer keeping you from work. But what about the paper, books, and reference materials you need while you work at the computer. How do you access these materials from a reclined position?

In a typical computer desk you will have a tabletop with a leg on each side and a crossbar underneath the desktop connecting the two legs. This crossbar is essential to strengthening and stabilizing the desk, however, it is an obstruction to the knees, shins, and feet when in a reclined position. The Zero gravity Workstation 5 has a unique design that solves the crossbar problem by moving the crossbar high above the desktop and tying it into the tubular frame that supports the whole desk. This frame also serves as the support structure for the ErgoQuest COPYSTAND-1 and BOOKHOLDER-1 that can keep all your important documents within comfortable reach while in a reclined position.

Because the Zero Gravity Workstation 1 has no obstructions, and its height range goes to 54”, it can easily straddle most treadmills. Now you can work at the computer and be productive while working out on a treadmill.

The ZGW-5 features a 1.25” thick 24” x 60” tabletop with laminated surface. The tabletop is supported on both sides by motorized columns which are attached to a tubular frame that eliminates all obstructions both under the desktop and at the floor level. The motorized columns move the tabletop from a height of 27” to 54”. Changing from a sitting to a standing to a reclining position is as easy as pushing a button. The ERGODESK-5 also features a motorized platform that tilts the monitor(s) from 0 degrees to a 55 degree angle. Adjusting both the desk height and monitor tilt can even be done while in the reclined position.

Q: Can I see the workstations and chairs and try them out in person?

A: Yes you can. You can come to our factory located at 2100 Nelson Avenue Grand Rapids Michigan 49507. If you let us know where you are located, we can also potentially get you in touch with an ErgoQuest client in your area who may be willing to let you try their workstation or chair.

Q:  Does ErgoQuest ship worldwide?

A:  Yes, we use UPS/DHL Air Freight to ship our products internationally.  UPS facilitates the customs processing.  We have shipped product to clients in Canada, UK, France, Mexico, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Belarus, Russia, and Saipan.

Q:  How do the products ship?

A:  We ship our products in pieces on 40" x 48" shipping pallets.  For domestic shipments we use a variety of freight carriers that will deliver the pallet to your address.  For residential of office deliveries with no loading dock, the carriers will deliver using a liftgate.

Q: How does the keyboard and mouse stay on the tray when tilted to accommodate a reclined position?

A: A trackball is not required. Most of our clients use a standard mouse. The top half of the tray is made out of felt material. The felt material acts as a hook and loop fastening system, holding the keyboard and mouse pad in place on the tray.

Q:  What if I need help with the setup and installation of my workstation or chair?

A:  We can arrange to have an assembler come to your address, unpack the pieces and set up the workstation in your room of choice.  This service is called our Ergoquest Installation and Setup Service.

Q: What is the Product Warranty?

A:  We have a 5-year warranty on all motorized components.

Q:  The website says the chairs are custom-sized to my body dimensions.  What dimensions do I have to provide?

A:  Look at the Ergoquest Body Dimension Form and take measurements for dimensions A, B, C, D, and E.

Q: How long does it take to build a workstation or chair?

A: The build time can take between 1-6 weeks depending on what you order. A chair with few or no customizations will likely take around a week. A more complex workstation will likely take around a month.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We currently accept credit cards, direct bank transfers, and PayPal. Payment is required with your Order.

Q: Can I order if I am tax exempt?

A: Yes, you can order if you are tax exempt. Provide your Canadian Tax exempt number when requesting a formal quote.

Q: How are the shipping costs calculated?

A: We use the following freight carriers: Day & Ross, DHL, FedEx, ABF, Dayton Freight, Estes, Forward Air, R&L Carriers, TForce Freight, XPO Logistics, and UPS. We pick the freight carrier that will ship in the fastest amount of time for the least amount of money.

Q: On international shipments, does we collect customs duties and taxes and VAT?

A: No. We will provide an estimate for these taxes, but the actual amount and collection will be determined by UPS Brokerage as part of their International air freight delivery service. Payment is your responsibility.
