The RecMic II Series is created to cater to the high demands of professionals who want excellent usability and results with any speech-to-text solution. The two new models in this series provide the benefits of the innovative noise cancellation technology with the intelligent Two-Microphone-System for flexible directionality and noise cancellation. All devices also come with an extra smooth UV-coating and silent buttons to reduce disturbing touch noises. The antimicrobial surface meets hygienic requirements, especially within medical industries.
Intelligent Two-Microphone System
Dual Microphone Technology provides precise narrow directionality, prioritizing sounds directly in front while eliminating unwanted noise from sides and rear. Conveniently switch between Wide field and Low Noise Cancellation mode in quiet settings, or Narrow field and High Noise Cancellation mode in louder environments. These flexible settings ensure flawless dictation and impeccable speech recognition in any surroundings.
Beam Forming
Thanks to the innovative intelligent two-microphone system of the RecMic II Series, background noises are actively ignored by the microphone so that an accurate speech recognition is realized.
Microphone Directionality
Directionality OFF: Having a strong directionality on the microphones is one of the key aspects to achieve accurate speech recognition results. When the Directionality is turned OFF, the noises from the surroundings are recorded.
Directionality ON: Thanks to the two omni-directional microphones the RecMic II is able to focus on the speaker like a human being. The surrounding sounds are largely “tuned out”
Noise Cancellation Recording
The advanced noise cancellation feature identifies voice and keeps it as it is. At the same time non- or low-relative sound is suppressed without distorting the voice. Anytime. Anywhere.
The noise cancellation and directionality settings can be configured via the RCT (RecMic Configuration Tool) Software or via button combinations without any software (see Quick User Guide).

INTELLIGENT TWO-MICROPHONE SYSTEM

Low-noise microphone unit
The RM-4010N incorporates low noise omni-directional microphones. The built-in shock absorber covers the microphone unit, reducing handling noise from the body.
Studio grade pop-filter
The microphone housing integrates a triple-layered pop-filter, eradicating wind noise and “pop” sounds during operation for precise speech recognition. Enhanced audio precision benefits both speech recognition and transcriptionist, ensuring effortless work with recording.
Beamforming Noise Cancellation
The Intelligent Two-microphone System utilizes the omni-directional microphones, analysing phase differences from sound sources. Using our unique Audio Beamforming algorithms, the RM-4010N suppresses sound from specific directions, reducing noise from the back and sides significantly, focusing on the speaker during dictation. Dramatically improves speech recognition, even in challenging environments.
CONTROL AND CONNECTIVITY
The RecMic RM-4010N provides push button recording control for ease of use. Featuring a trackball mouse, enclosed loudspeaker, hands-free stand, and customizable settings, it enhances both efficiency and speech recognition accuracy in medical documentation and legal dictation.

With the integrated trackball, you can effortlessly navigate your mouse cursor while dictating. The intelligent trackball enhances cursor movement speed when necessary and can also be clicked to initiate a left mouse click action. Enclosed loudspeaker
The ingenious design of this device enables the integrated loudspeaker to produce ample volume and excellent sound quality, even through the compact body’s smaller opening. Additionally, this construction effectively safeguards the speaker unit against dust accumulation. Intuitive configuration
The RECMIC Configuration Tool is an application facilitating workflow control with RECMIC for desktop applications. This free software allows you to configure RECMIC settings and assign functions to its buttons, such as microphone directionality and button configuration.
Operating modes
Users can select from three modes in standard HID-Keyboard mode: two with preset settings for Dragon or Windows Speech Recognition, and a third for complete customization using OM SYSTEM RECMIC Configuration Tool (RCT). HID keyboard mode benefits virtual environments, avoiding special driver installations. Experience seamless compatibility and tailored options.
ANTIMICROBIAL SURFACE
The RECMIC II features a unique surface coating that provides exceptional antibacterial and antimicrobial protection against harmful microbes. The housing and buttons of each device are constructed with Polygiene®, incorporating materials with antimicrobial coatings (ISO 22196). This design ensures superior cleanability, complemented by the “tolerance to alcohol” feature. The device can be easily wiped with either Ethanol (76.9 to 81.4 v/v%) or Isopropanol (70 v/v%), thanks to its alcohol-resistant painting.
