Phone calls: The user can place phone calls by pressing the talking buttons or using voice commands. There is a speaking caller-ID for incoming calls.

Voice guide: MiniVision2+ will speak everything on the screen and everything you press, providing complete independence and accessibility. It will also speak items like caller ID, battery level and more. Multiple languages and voices are available.

Contacts: People who are blind can add contacts independently. Contacts are read out loud as the user scrolls through their contact list. Calls can be placed from contacts.

Voice commands: Users can place phone calls, send text messages, add contacts or record notes using voice commands.

Big Buttons: The buttons are large and well-spaced. The Ok button is a textured button that is easy to identify; and the five key, power button and call button have prominent bumps.

SOS button: A dedicated SOS button on the back of the phone triggers a call to emergency contacts.

1. HOW DO I TURN THE MINIVISION2+ ON OR OFF?

To turn the phone on or off, press and hold the power button with the red power symbol and three horizontal bumps

2. DOES MINIVISION2+ INCLUDE A CAMERA?

Yes. Take pictures by going to Settings > Camera and pointing the camera at the object/scene you wish to photograph and pressing the OK button.

3. DOES THE MINIVISION2+ SUPPORT BLUETOOTH?

Yes. Bluetooth can be activated within Settings. Bluetooth headphones can be used with the MiniVision2+.

4. DOES MINIVISION2+ SUPPORT WI-FI COMMUNICATIONS?

Yes, it does. Wi-Fi can be activated within Settings.

5. DOES MINIVISION2+ PROVIDE AN INTERNET BROWSER?

No, the phone does not support internet browsing.

6. DOES MINIVISION2+ PROVIDE GPS (GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM)?

Yes. The phone has a feature called “Where am I?,” which provides the user’s location.

8. HOW DO I CHANGE THE LANGUAGE USED BY THE MINIVISION2+?

To change the language, go Settings > Language. Supported languages include English, Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish, Russian and more.

9. HOW DO I PERMANENTLY TURN ON/OFF THE DISPLAY?

Go to Settings > Display and select Screen Off.

10. IS THERE AN S.O.S. FEATURE?

There is an SOS button on the back of the phone. When set up, the phone will call and/or text up to ten contacts when the SOS button on the back panel is pressed and held. To set up this emergency feature go to Settings > Emergency.

11. HOW CAN I ADJUST THE VOLUME OF THE VOICE GUIDE?

Press the buttons to the left or right of the OK button. Button to the left of the OK button will lower the volume. Button to the right will increase the volume.

12. HOW DO I TURN ON/OFF THE VOICE GUIDE?

Go to Settings > Vocalization and then turn off Screen Reader.

13. DOES MINIVISION2+ SUPPORT VOICE COMMANDS?

Yes. Press and hold the OK button and say the command, such as “Call John.”

14. HOW MANY CONTACTS CAN THE MINIVISION2+ HOLD?

The user can store hundreds of contacts.

15. DOES MINIVISION2+ SUPPORT TEXT MESSAGES (SMS)?

Yes, the phone is capable of sending and receiving text messages.

16. CAN THE PHONE TELL ME THE REMAINING BATTERY POWER?

The easiest way to do this is press pound and the digit 1 simultaneously.

17. DO I NEED TO PERFORM ANY UPDATES?

The MiniVision2+ receives occasional updates which can be installed over the air (i.e., wirelessly).

18. HOW DO I PERFORM AN UPDATE?

Go to Settings > About Phone > System updates.

19. DOES MINIVISION2+ SUPPORT 3G AND 4G NETWORKS?

MiniVision2+ operates on 3G and 4G LTE networks.

20. CAN I USE MINIVISION2+ WITH ANY NETWORK PROVIDER?

MiniVision2+ is an unlocked GSM phone. Accordingly, you can use the phone with GSM providers, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MINT Mobile, Straight Talk, Simple Mobile, and more. The MiniVision2+ will not work on the Verizon network.

21. WHAT KIND AND FORMAT OF SIM CARD CAN I USE WITH MINIVISION2+?

MiniVision2+ requires a nano SIM.

Yes. The phone supports wired headphones with a 3.5 mm jack, as well as Bluetooth headphones.

24. CAN I USE THIRD-PARTY CHARGERS?

For an optimal user experience, we strongly advise that you use chargers offered by the manufacturer. Other chargers may be unsafe, may not provide the required power to charge the MiniVision2+ phone efficiently and can negatively impact the charging performance and the battery life.

25. WHAT DO I DO IF MY PHONE DOES NOT TURN ON / I HAVE A BLACK SCREEN?

  • Press the End call button until the display is turned on.
  • Check the remaining charge in your battery.
  • Remove and reinstall your battery and turn your phone back on.

26. WHAT DO I DO IF THE READABILITY OF MY SCREEN IS NOT SATISFACTORY?

  • Clean your screen
  • Adjust the brightness level of the screen. Go to Settings>Display>Brightness

27. WHAT DO I DO IF MY PHONE TURNS OFF BY ITSELF?

  • Press the End call button to wake up the phone.
  • Check the charge of your battery.

28. WHAT DO I DO IF MY PHONE HAS A LOW BATTERY?

Make sure that you charged the phone for a minimum of 4 hours.

Decrease battery consumption by turning off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth if you do not need it. You can also decrease the brightness of the screen or switch off

the display permanently by enabling the setting “Screen off”.

29. WHAT DO I DO IF MY PHONE IS NOT CHARGING PROPERLY?

  • Make sure that you are charging is under normal conditions (0°C to 40°C).
  • Confirm that your battery is inserted correctly. It must be inserted properly before connecting the charger.
  • Make sure you are using the charger and battery supplied by KAPSYS.

30. WHAT DO I DO IF MY PHONE WON’T CONNECT TO A NETWORK?

  • Check if your phone connects to a network at a different location.
  • Check the network coverage with your service provider.
  • Make sure airplane mode is off.
  • Confirm that your wireless service is active.
  • Try later as the network could be overloaded.
  • Remove and reinstall the SIM card.

31. WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE A SIM CARD ERROR / NO PHONE FUNCTION IS AVAILABLE?

  • Check if the SIM card is inserted correctly.
  • Check if the chip on your SIM card is not damaged or scratched.

  • Verify that you have dialed a valid number.
  • For international calls, check the country / area code.
  • Make sure that your phone is connected to a network and that the network is not overloaded or unavailable.
  • Check that airplane mode is off.

  • Make sure your phone is powered on and connected to a network.
  • Check that airplane mode is off.

  • Check that you have correctly entered the number.
  • Check that you have selected the country prefix when calling abroad.

38. HOW TO RESET MY PHONE IF I AM LOCKED OUT?

If you are locked out of the device, you can reset the phone. To do this, dial one of the following codes from the home screen using the physical keypad, then press the OK button:
