Use the included 1-Scene Grid to make visual scene displays with hot spots or easily transform it for flexible grid configurations (2-, 3-, 4-, or even 6-message grids)! The 9-message grid provides communication options for the beginner to mid-level communicator with 9 messages per level and 3 core messages, too! Lastly, the 25-message grid gives communicators a range of overlay options for core words, curricular participation, and the ability to build sentences!

GoTalk DESIGN & CONNECT Software Included

Each GoTalk Connect includes access to all three versions of the GoTalk DESIGN & CONNECT Software:

1. Free GoTalk DESIGN & CONNECT App

The free version allows users to receive overlays, send audio from overlays to the GoTalk Connect device, and print overlays.

This is especially helpful when, for example, an SLP, teacher, or specialist creates an overlay and sends it to a parent or caregiver. The parent can receive and print the overlay, even without needing editing access.

Please note: the free version does not allow overlay editing.

2. Web-Based Subscription Version

GoTalk Connect also includes a 1-year web-based subscription. This option supports overlay design and access to text-to-speech voices.

Please note: with the subscription version, users cannot record audio directly through the computer using voice recording or TTS audio capture in the same way as the direct download version.

3. Direct Download Version for Windows/Mac

The direct download version provides the most complete programming experience, including features that allow users to record audio through the computer, including recorded voice and text-to-speech audio.

Text-to-Speech Voices

Text-to-speech voices are provided through Amazon Polly and Eleven Labs. These voices are not required for programming GoTalk Connect, but they are available as an additional support option through the included software.

Each GoTalk Connect includes a 1-year subscription to the TTS voices. Future annual renewals will be $10.00 (CAD) per unit per year.
