Transfer Area Requirements
- Transfer area has 55.9" of unobstructed space. The chair needs room to close around the occupant.
- All surfaces are between 15.5" and 23" in height. This is the minimum and maximum height of the seat.
- Clearance of 4.5" under the transfer area. To accommodate the chair legs when sliding underneath.
- Ensure your toilet base is no wider than 18". Additionally, ensure the space between the 18" mark and the 22" mark is unobstructed for the chair legs.
- Transfer area cannot be ultra plush. If the occupant is sinking into the bedding/chair, this will make transfers difficult.
User Requirements
- Occupant is less than 250 lbs.
- Be able to stay seated upright unassisted
