Seven-Leg Base: Seven legs mean a 20% improved ease of movement and more stability over five-leg chairs. This added support increases durability, helps prevent tipping, and allows for higher weight ratings.
Its steel construction includes a metal strength ring and is tested to a 10,000 lb. dynamic load. Our base is unmatched in strength and stability. - Safety Casters: As a safety feature, the chair won't move unless it is sat in. Once you sit in it, the brake is released and allows the chair to roll freely. This is important for those who may need to put weight on the arms to lower themselves into the seat, preventing unintended chair movement and reducing the risk of injury. Safety casters have a two-point stem, shock absorber and special bore construction that prolongs the life of the caster as well as the chair. The closed construction reduces the amount of dirt and hair getting into the caster also prolonging its life.

The chair's range will ergonomically support most body types, starting with the 4th-percentile female size (approximately 5' 0") up to the 96th-percentile male size (approximately 6' 5").

C-Loop Armrests (3150 Series): These attractive armrests easily raise and lower by squeezing a button under the arm pad. They also adjust outward from the seat to provide extra room or accommodate a duty belt. Just turn the handwheel under the seat and adjust the width by up to 2.5".

Some competitor warranties claim to be longer (10 years, 12 years, even lifetime), but when you read through the legalese you find out it only covers “defects in materials and workmanship,” which may only apply for a short time after purchase. Heavy-duty is 15,000-30,000 cycles and extra heavy-duty is over 30,000 cycles.
