“In 2020, I was bitten by a rattlesnake. After about eight months of recovery, with leaky capillaries and lingering issues, sitting or standing at my desk became unbearable; I dreaded it every day. Even years after the bite had fully healed, any time at a normal desk—sitting or standing—was miserable. Standing was especially difficult. Because of soft tissue damage in my foot, it would swell within 30 minutes of either sitting or standing. I resorted to working from couches and big chairs all over the house and porch—anything to avoid a regular desk. But that’s not a long-term solution; I still needed a proper workstation.

The Zero Gravity Workstation 0b-XL has been a true game changer for me. The first things you notice when setting it up are its size and its rock-solid stability. I use a single large 43" monitor on the dedicated monitor mount, and a smaller 26" monitor on the laptop stand bar. That setup lets me move the large monitor freely, while the smaller one sits just above my laptop for easier viewing. Keeping the secondary monitor off the main mount also means I can swing the desk to face the TV and still see my primary monitor without any issues.

I’ve been using this workstation for several months now, and I actually look forward to sitting down to work. It’s incredibly comfortable, though it does take a bit of time to dial in and get used to. The seat cushion is fantastic, and the chair’s adjustment options are spot on. I can easily cycle through the three chair settings, and each configuration feels like an entirely different chair. The full desktop is outstanding: I can pull it right up to my torso so it rests on the chair’s arms, creating a very stable, close-in work surface that makes long work sessions not only possible, but enjoyable.”
