Description

Ideal for the user who isn’t able to activate a switch manually, this mountable switch can be activated with very light pressure and is also maneuverable with pressure from the knee, elbow or another body part. Includes our heavy duty ball joint (#1010). Attaches easily to our switch mounting systems, sold separately (#1550, #1557 & #1631).

  • A Approximately 30 grams of force.
  • Q Can the head switch be used alone or do you need a mounting system?
  • A No you need a mounting system like our #1550 mounting system.
  • Q Can this be used with the flex mount?
  • A No it is not compatible. The mounts it will work with are clearly listed at the end of the item description page: Attaches easily to our switch mounting systems, sold separately (#1550, #1557 & #1631).
  • Q Can this be connected to an iPad with a switch friendly app?
  • A Not without using what is called a Bluetooth Switch interface made to work.
  • Q Can this be used with your Attendant Call Chime?
  • A Yes any standard switch with a 1/8 inch plug can be used.
  • Q I can adapted this with the electrical wheelchair?
  • A If the Wheelchair works with switches it can be used but the switch can only do one function (e.g.) move forward. Not advised.
